I was listening to a shiur by Rebbetzin Heller on Naaleh, called "Feeling the Churban," and I really liked a concept she started the shiur with.
A פסוק in איכה says, "כל רודפיה השיגוה בין המצרים" -- "all those who pursued her reached her בין המצרים." The זוהר asks, who is "she"? It's the שכינה. Anyone who seeks Hashem during this time of mourning, is able to access it.
משיח will be born on תשעה באב -- whether this is literal or not, everything that brings about משיח's coming is born within us during this time.
May we all be זוכה to seek Hashem באמת and achieve amazing things that will bring משיח במהרה בימינו, and hopefully today will have been the last תענית of mourning for the חורבן.
