Hashem loves you

A nice article from the Jewish Press that was published a long time ago:

ALL FOR YOU

It was really early, before 7 a.m., when I left my house to get to school on time. No, it doesn't take an hour to get to Brooklyn College. But on Thursdays, alternate side parking is in effect; so as hard as it is to find parking in Brooklyn on a regular day, it's especially hard on Thursdays. Thus I had to leave myself time to find a beloved parking spot. I was on my way, Baruch Hashem, and it was still dark outside. Still dark! What was I doing up? I am still asleep some days at this time. Well, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? So I was driving toward the Marine Parkway Bridge on just another morning.
But it wasn't.
There was a car in front of me. I don't remember what kind it was. It might've been a Toyota, maybe a Nissan. Maybe even a Lexus. I don't know. No matter. What matters was what it said on the license plate. It said, "4 U LOVE."
Aw! I thought that was so cute. A husband must've bought that car for his wife and given it to her. And she was probably so happy that they got in the car and drove out to Chosen Island to celebrate. Yup, that must be it. So nice!

I kept driving. The sun was starting to rise. I looked in my rearview mirror. It was magnificent. The sky, which had been dark, became a beautiful hodgepodge of pinks streaked with orange and yellow. It was just so stunning. Like a painting on my mirror - only even more dazzling. It was a picture to take your breath away. The world was alive. It was being renewed. How gorgeous!
I thanked Hashem for the beautiful morning. I drove past the Belle Harbor beach where the waves were especially blue that morning - lush, crashing, blue waves. Unbelievable! I wanted to stare at them forever. It was the most picture-perfect, stunning sunshine of a glorious morning on a brand new day.
I sat there, thanking the Almighty for this day. Suddenly something caught my eye. It was that license plate. That Toyota/Nissan/Lexus was still in front of me. And the number and letters - 4 U LOVE - were there once again. Only now I knew they were for me - all of it.
The beautiful morning sun, the crashing waves, the clear day... it's all for you! Yes, for you, my dear love. I knew HaKadosh Baruch Hu was talking to me. He was telling me, darling, it's all for you. I created this world just for you!
The Talmud says that each person is obligated to tell himself, "b'shvili nivrah ha'olam - This world was created for me." It really was. It's just for you!
To utilize it, to make the most of it, and to enjoy it! Hashem has given us the greatest gift, the gift of life. What a privilege. If we live with this attitude, it has the power to transform our lives. Think about it. Everything in existence is just for you. To help you in your Avodat Hashem, in your quest for growth and in your relationship with the King of the Universe.
Aren't we blessed? Look at the world around you and the world within you. It is all yours. Your loving Father is telling you it is - by declaring, 4 U LOVE. Feel the love He is showering upon you every second. Every breath you take, every move you make - don't take it for granted. Appreciate it! Realize that it is all from the Source of Kindness, and recognize His message to you for what it is - 4 U LOVE!
Have a great day!
